A wicking bed is a self-watering, low-maintenance gardening system that wicks moisture from a reservoir at the base of the bed, up into the soil where your plants can access it as needed. This means you use less water, as there is reduced evaporation and you only refill the reservoir when it’s empty. Our wicking beds are designed to provide consistent moisture, ensuring your plants stay healthy and strong even during the driest conditions.

We use a certified drinking water grade liner and a unique system of piping, developed by us back in 2009, which adds a wealth of functionality to your wicking bed. With this system, you can easily monitor and regulate your bed’s water levels, switch to ‘rainy season mode’ in seconds for optimal soil moisture year-round, and never worry about overfilling your bed.
