Mind the Sharp Corners on Your Eyes

• When you’re installing and folding the liner be aware that it can have corners that can be quite sharp and easy to miss when leaning across your bed. To prevent injury handle these areas with caution.
• Whenever possible, wear safety glasses to protect your eyes.

Prevent Tears and Scratches

• Avoid dragging your liner across rough or abrasive surfaces, which can cause small tears or punctures.
• Pay extra attention to folded corners, as these are more prone to damage during setup.
• Carefully lift and maneuver the liner instead of pulling or dragging it.

Protect against Heat

• Full sun and high temperatures (over 30°C) can cause hot spots on the liner, especially when you’ve installed the liner but not yet added any water or screenings. The sun’s rays can reflect off the sides of the liner, focusing near the corners, and create small areas where temperatures exceed 120ºC! That’s the melting point of the liner!
• So, on particularly hot days, when the sun is high in the sky, once you’ve installed the liner, if you’re not going to fill it straight away, add a few centimeters of water or screenings to the bed and you’ll have nothing to worry about.
